BTO a no-go...

So I have had BTO in Arizona, but thought I'd see if it's any different here in Denver. What we're looking at here is some strawberry cream (a flavor I haven't seen elsewhere), some irish coffee (also a rare flavor) and caramel. I keep it simple on the toppings and typically go with mochi, but they had boba balls here, so I had to. Lys got coconut, strawberry bream, and nonfat mango. She had strawberry boba balls and sprinkles on top. As far as falvor selection goes, BTO is pretty weak (most froyo shops have between 16-18 flavors) with only 12 (3 of which were nonfat tart). You would think that this is a given, but they did have sample cups readily available without having to ask for them (some places don't). There was no wait time here, which is actually what triggered us trying new places (we used to only go to yogurtland because it's so good and close to where we live, but they have a 20 minute line out of the door at all times, so here we are). The flavors of the froyo were pretty tasty, but the consistency was off. It was icier than most other places, a little harder, not as fluffy, and colder than other frozen yogurts. We settled on a rating of 29 for BTO (Taste = 7; Topping Availability = 8; Crowd = 8; Flavor Selection = 6). My advice, drive the extra 3 miles and go to peachwave.

Peachwave all day

So my girlfriend and I are addicted to self serve frozen yogurt. Self serve is a key (take note pinkberry). We have decided to start letting the world know about our expert opinions, so ere is the first. This is what Aly got last time we were at peachwave.
